This  1-bedroom Swahili styled cottage is accessed through a private courtyard in bustling Bagamoyo old town.

Dhow House is thoughtfully arranged across three storeys, creating a unique sense of space and separation:

Ground Floor: Entrance and garden access, welcoming you into a peaceful, shaded setting before entering the kitchen

First Floor: Comfortable bedroom designed for rest and privacy

Second Floor: Bright outdoor living space opening onto a stunning private terrace

The vertical layout offers both intimacy and openness, making it ideal for couples, solo travelers, writers, creatives, or remote workers seeking inspiration. Dhow House also includes a fully equipped modern kitchen, designed to make longer stays easy and convenient.  This includes and stove and oven, fridge and freezer, tea and coffee making facilities and cutlery and kichen amenities. The layout allows you to move seamlessly between indoor living spaces, the garden, and the rooftop terrace—creating a flexible and comfortable self-catering experience.

The bedroom is located on the second floor, creating a peaceful and private sleeping space elevated above the garden. It features a comfortable queen-sized bed has a fan inside the mosquito netting and is positioned to take full advantage of the natural light. The room features a desk and two wardrobes and Large, expansive windows open outward to reveal beautiful garden views, allowing fresh coastal breezes and soft daylight to fill the room.. Just off the corridor there's a shower and toilet, with a sink next to it.
